Johannes Burgert, geboren 1998 in Düsseldorf, ist Komponist und Klangregisseur. Er absolvierte Kompositionsstudien in München, Paris (Erasmus+) und Stuttgart bei Isabel Mundry, Frédéric Durieux und Luxa M. Schüttler. Darüber hinaus besuchte er zahlreiche technische Kurse zur elektronischen Musik, Musikinformatik, Computermusik und Studiotechnik u.a. bei Piet Johan Meyer, Marco Stroppa und Yan Maresz.
Seine Musik wurde bereits von bedeutenden Ensembles wie dem SWR Vokalensemble, dem Ensemble Recherche, dem Diotima-Quartett und den Stuttgarter Philharmonikern aufgeführt. Als freischaffender Klangregisseur realisierte er bereits eine Reihe von Projekten mit zum Teil komplexer Live-Elektronik und arbeitet seit Juni 2026 im Rahmen eines Volontariats als Klangregisseur und Musikinformatiker am SWR Experimentalstudio.

He completed his studies in composition in Munich, Paris (Erasmus+), and Stuttgart under Isabel Mundry, Frédéric Durieux, and Luxa M. Schüttler. In addition, he attended numerous courses in electronic music, music informatics, computer music, and studio technology, studying with Piet Johan Meyer, Marco Stroppa, and Yan Maresz, among others.
His music has been performed by prominent ensembles such as the SWR Vokalensemble, Ensemble Recherche, Diotima Quartet, and the Stuttgart Philharmonic. As a freelance sound director, he has realized a number of projects, some involving complex live-electronics, and has been working since June 2026 as a trainee sound director and music informatician at the SWR Experimentalstudio.
