In 2008 the Karl Sczuka Prize Jury was chaired by Johann-Georg Schaarschmidt.
Other members were Marcel Beyer, Christina Weiss, Frank Kaspar and Monika Lichtenfeld.
To advise the jury without voting rights, Hans Burkhard Schlichting attended the meetings on behalf of the Karl Sczuka Prize Office.
